I shut my system down for 4 days while on vacation and then turned it back on when I returned home. Now the salt tank is full of water and I don't think the water is being softened. The dishwasher has sandblasted glasses and plates. How can I fix this so the water will reclcle? I tried overriding the system and recyling it but it didn't change anything

It sounds like the eductor assembly is plugged. This will cause it to not draw brine but it will keep refilling the salt tank. Let me know which model it is and I can walk you through the steps to correct the problem.
