I think my phone is too old to hook up to the amplifier
My phone is a AT & T 8102A, it is from 1982 I think. It doesn't have a headset jack. Is a headset jack required or is the amp, like an adaptor for phones that don't have a headset jack?

My co-worker fiddled around for a bit and finally we made it work. He plugged the amplifier into the jack for the phones handset, and then plugged the handset into the phone.
The headset we then plugged into the amp. This seems so simple, it would be great if I had been told this by our tech cupport team, maybe we would have had it hooked up sooner.

Look to see if you have a headset jack on the phone if not then you would require the headset amplifier, make sure that the handset cable unplugs from the telephone. Glad to help!
