I thought my macerator toilet must be blocked as it wasn't emptying in the bowl and when I flushed again the water (and waste) filled more into the bowl and leaked out of the top of the macerator spilling onto the floor!.... it then set itself off for a minute every ten minutes or so for a while then stops. I thought I had fixed it for a while after I used some drain cleaner on it but it happened again the next day. is the macerator broken and will I need to replace it? or is it something to do with the cold weather? Is it expensive to replace or can you just fix it? Its about 6 years old. Thank you for your help
