I took apart my Yamaha CVP-209 and cleaned the keys. But when I put it back together and turned it on: no sound! I tried the master reset but it did not give me sound, even thru the headphone jack
Master reset was suggested elsewhere unless it's different with my model. Also, I did make one change--I removed the old floppy disk drive and just tucked the plug-ins and ground wire back into the hole. There were no loose wires involved; just that. Any thoughts? I can reattach that if it's the problem. Thanks much!

So what are you getting? Power light, screen display, just no sound?
Try pressing a demo tune - does that work?
If it does then you may have a problem with the connector from keybed to motherboard.
If no sound just try connecting the disc drive up again - if this then makes it work it is probably hanging during the start up procedure.
Report back if you need to and we can try something else.
