I took the fryer out of storage. Got little response from unit
I filled it with oil. It turned on and beeped. I turned the heat to 375. The display went blank and the fryer became unresponsive. I removed the back and then I removed a relay. I had done this one other time when this error occurred and it fix it. When I tried again the unit beeped but I got no display. The unit is currently in this state.

All element units are pretty simple, and you can think of them, as Heater Element, with a switch, in the Phase, that's Opened/Closed via a Thermostat, (& a sensor for said thermostat), and thus the Power is connected to the element. As such, it is easy to troubleshoot, you need a Multimeter, Using OHMS, Or Continuity test, simply trace out the circuit, from, plug, to element, along the Phase, Black, wire, USA, to the Element, the "Other" side of the Element is simply connected to return, or neutral. Also there is a "Thermal" fuse, that is there to protect, that too may have faulted, all fuses should be short circuit.
