Hi, If you have a leak now and can't find it, the best way is a soap solution you can mix up with liquid dish soap and water and spray the area. You will see it bubble where it leaks. If the pilot doesn't stay lite when you release the knob, most people that I have helped with these patio heaters have to remove the section that the thermocouple is located and send it in for repairs. Turns out its not worth the cost to do it. This is the problem, the thermocouple. If yours is removable, and you can take it out you're self you can fix it. This will cause this problem.
