Sounds like a boot error, usually caused by moving files you shouldnt move or viruses deleting important files, in either case... you should be able to do a complete system restore, when the screen comes on, press the f2 button or whichever one says to push for the e recovery manager, select system restore, not just a restore point, and follow the recovery wizard, hope this helps.
