Report "I used a different lead with my external usb which I think caused some kind of power issue and it went off. Now even with the proper Y usb lead it switches on as normal with the blue light coming on but nothing else happens.It doesn't connect to the laptop, I tried looking in disc management but its not visible there and after about 5 or so minutes it switches it self off. I unistalled all the usb drivers and reinstalled them but this ist nt the issue. When it comes on, when listening to it, everything sounds normal ,I can hear the disc spinning up without any strange noises. Any ideas what may be wrong with it?"
