I want to know how to activate the dual channel memory of my mb
My mb is k8m800 micro am2. i cant figure out how to activate its dual channel memory. when i place a mem. module in one slot, my pc doesnt boot. by the way, i have one ddr2 667 1gb mem and a ddr2 533. tnx.

Hi mojaja, for starters you can not run both, DDR2 667MHz & DDR2 533Mhz at the same time. (You'll need to pick one).
Dual channel memory is usually bought in pairs. If you run dual channel memory & you do not buy in pairs it will not run in dual channel. (So you need to match the 1GB 667 with a second matching 1GB 667 DIMM). Or the same for 533 (If its dual channel).
See page 8 & read page 9 in your manual.
There is nothing to turn on. The bios list the memory at boot up.
You can catch your memory being listed at boot up. You'll have to watch closely because it will go by quickly!
