I want to reduce the pump cycles
I have just installed a new Flotec FPSC4550. It works great. Just wonder if there is a way (with the vertical float switch) of adjusting the pump cycle time. I would like the sump to fill up a little more before the pump comes on; thus; reducing the number of times the pump comes on.

Put pump further down into pit if you can
Bob, I think I was wrong. If your raise pump, pit will need to fill more to cause it to go on. It may cycle on less but for short runs.
