I want to release flex from sebo x4 vacuum cleaner to cut back
Cable has been damaged on sebo x4 , so rather than splicing it and taping up i want to remove , cut back and then reconnect but it isn't too obvious how to get flex out of handle once removed from main body of cleaner ...any suggestions , Thanks

On the underside of the handle, there's a small screw close to where the metal and plastic parts join. Undo this screw. This will allow you to pull the plastic part out of the metal part - not very far, but just far enough so that you can separate the plastic part into two halves lengthways. That gives you access to the switch, and you should find the rewiring job and reassembly straight forward from there on.
