I want to replace the sr920 battery on my Invicta 4243 watch. I unscrewed the case, to expose the battery, but it is held in place by a plastic tab, a tiny metal clip as well as a lip along the rim...3 places...and no obvious way to release it. What is the best practice?

Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.
You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving in doing it yourself.
