I was sewing on my Consew 206Rb-4 when the thread jammed in the shuttle area. I have removed the shuttle, needle, and pulled what thread I could see out. Turning the wheel to raise the needle is not possible. It will rock the shuttle just a little and move the needle slightly. I have a upholstery project just started. Any ideas will be helpful
There is still thread binding in the bobbin area. My advise is the remove the bobbin shuttle, I believe there is still thread locking your machine up. This is not an easy task and whatever you do don't lose the small screws. I can talk you through this the best I can, but if you are not comfortable taking the the bobbin shuttle out, please contact a commercial sewing machine repair shop.
