I was trying to upgrade the firmware this morning using laptop (connected to the router through wire), but before it completed upgrading the router froze. Now I can not reset it nor could reinstall using CD that came with it. While trying to reintall using CD I get the message that "connection to the router could not be found" and ask me to check the connections. All the connections are good and I can see blinking amber color light for the switch besides lights for internet connection and lan port connection
Find the RESET or Restore to Factory settings button on the router. With the Router powered, hold the button in for 15 seconds or until the light pattern changes, then release.
You'll need to re-do your router setup after it's up and running again.
