Doesn't sound like they can get to the control panel? Your MB sounds like it has a bios lock and needs to be sent to someone who can clear that security situation off the MB, or sell it for parts.
i have the same problem, my laptop goes on blank and a padlock apperar on the left side of of the screen.can you help me please.need for your responce as soon as possible...
