This may be a serious problem, and then it may not be. This is going to be a problem with the system board programing. First thing is go into the bios at start up and load set up defaults, or set the bios to default. If this doesn't work, then use another computer to go to IBM's support site and burn a disc with the bios download on it, and run the bios disc in your machine. If these two don't work, then I'm afraid it's serious. It will be a bad CRC2 problem, which is a faulty motherboard component. With a bad CRC1 or CRC2 it is cheaper to replace the motherboard on these models than it is to have it fixed. I hope that one of the first two solves the problem.
