If I have the (DIC) in my 1999 Cadillac DeVille and it's been displaying messages that the engine is hot and it's not the sensor , what could the problem possibly be ?
Depending on your instrument panel option, if it displays temperature and the error message says something different, the problem is probably in the instrument panel. In any case, I would try replacing the sensor.
