If I just get in the truck and drive it it
If I just get in the truck and drive it it overheats, but if I letit set for 15 or more minutes it drives find. I have a vapor lock.
How can I resolve this? This is on a 99 Ford Ranger 4 wheel drive XLT.

You need to get the air pocket out of the cooling system...remove rad cap with engine cold run engine til overflows and t-stat opens then fill
