Need more info, but here goes; Check that the steering wheel is not pushing hard in one direction. By turning the wheel you can take pressure off the key locking mechanism and so turn it to remove it.
IF you can turn the key to the off position and still can not remove it then you may be able to get it out by disconnecting the negative side of the car battery. Maybe... no guarantee though.
Last, you can turn the cars switch off completely and disconnecting the battery did not work then the issue is the lock broke due to too much weight was on the key as it was in the ignition. Many people have several keys on a ring. As time goes by these keys bounce and the weight of this damages the ignition switch. The solution is expensive. The cheapest route is a junkyard and that is still going to be steep. If you live in a place where cars are not stolen all the time you can put in a hidden or electronic switch between the ignition and the switch. I am not going to try to explain how this is done, but if you know how then the key can stay in the car and will not work unless you know where the hidden switch is. Using electronic methods is better though... but complicated for the average driver to create.
