First check the ignitor to see if it is sparking from the electrode(ignitor) and make sure the spark is strong and blue. ( you can clean the electrode with a wire brush if needed) If you can't see a spark... the faint clicking sound means that there is a spark somewhere else. You can remove the wire from the " spark " terminal on the ignition module and if you still hear a clicking sound when trying to light the burner, you know that the module is defective. Sometimes you can turn the lights out and in a dark room you can try to track down the faint clicking sound and see where the current is arcing to ground. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a wire is'nt making good contact, check the leads that run up to the ignitors... the ignition module may need to be replaced
