I'm installing a Pioneer avh x5500bhs into a 2001 f350, where do i connect the purple wire comeing out of the Pioneer? I understand it is to signal the reverse mode, but do i have to run a wire under the truck to splice into a reverse lamp wire? is there a closer location under the dash?
