I'm not sure if it's a bog at low rpms but my 97 yzf1000 doesn't feel crazy fast between 1-3k Could it be because I have my ex up valve wide open? Or am I losing power internally? Thanks 4 the help

Could be to little fuel, clogged fuel filter. Or to much fuel, fuel regulator is bad. dumping fuel in the intake. This would cause black smoke when taking off or at start ups.
