Hi Christian, I understand that you are trying to feed your device with a thin clear film but your device not recognizing it.
1. One of the technical fact about your Stylus Pro GS6000 is that it is Compatible with media up to 1.3mm thick. 2. so there is no straightforward way to achieve your requirement. 3. You can try keeping an array of thin films arranged upon one another and make it such that the total thickness is upto 1.3mm and try feeding the film into your device. It may recognize its border now. But this is a kind of trick to make your printer recognize your film but not quaranteed.
Please try this and let me know your comments. Thanks
Hi Christian, 1. If it is so, then before printing you can choose the print media type as something like "Transparent paper" in the print properties window. 2. usually the provided media's edge is detected by the printer by some sort of hardware sensors and it won't affect even the supplied media is transparent or opaque. 3. If you are doubt then try printing on some other thick transparent paper roll. 4. I guess, your problem is due to the thickness of the film as its too light for your printer to detect its edge. Please provide back your comments. thanks
