Impulse sprinklers stick after cloclwise rotation; no return
I have a some Rainbird impulse in ground sprinklers that stick after they complete the clockwise rotation. They will not rebound and occilate back counter clockwise. The "hangy-downy" thing that looks a bit like a paper clip touches the adjuster clip arm but will not trip backwards and make the sprinkler head rotate back counter clockwise. The water pressure appears to be very good. If I stick my finger in front of the piece that catches water (the "chck, chck, chck, sound maker that scatters water) and cause it to travel less distance, the sprinkler gains more strength and trips the reverse mechanism.

How can I fix them so that they work properly and travel both clockwise and counter clockwise without hanging up or getting stuck?
