In 2002 we had a new Mastercool AC with the ICM installed. It will not turn off. We have to turn it off at the fuse box. We were told that it needs a new relay but they are difficult to find as Mastercool is no longer in business.Are there universal relays?

Any technician should be able to wire a universal relay into your system, I am assuming that you are talking about the contactor on your outside unit... if not then it could be the board inside the air handler, but that usually only controls the indoor blower and heating section...
