1995 Ford Aspire. In idle the car seems to run fine, when gas is applied the car sputters and does not acceleate over 15mph. We have changed the spark plugs as well as the wires. We are at a loss to what to fix next.

It could be a number of different things, change the fuel filter
then if that doesnt help,losen the fuel cap it may be vapor locking, and then if none of those help,check the timing and also the fuel pressure regulator,maf sensor, tps sensor,
Could be a vaccum hose leak or the coil is dying not producing enough power for the spark plugs
