In my 1997 Cadillac Catera if I turn my lights, windshield wiper, or Air on the battery goes down slowly untill it dies...I have bought a brand new battery also replaced the altenator!! What else could it be?

It sounds like the ground from the alternator is bad. Have the connections cleaned and restore the ground. if that doesn't work have the alternator tested. Sometimes they do fail straight from the shelf. Hope this helps. Good luck.
