It says in the bios setup "A DEVICE ENCLOSED IN PARENTHESIS HAS BEEN DISABLED IN THE CORRESPONDING TYPE MENU" what does this mean.

I have a SATA hardrive and a IDE dvd writer if i try to boot windows from my writer will it recognise my sata hardrive
