Inaccurate Measurements of heart rate
My polar watch was acting erratic when displaying my heart rate. For example, when I ran on the treadmill it said 90bpm and then it jumped all the way to 210 bpm. After I got off the treadmill, the watch was stuck on 210bpm for at least 15 minutes, even though my heart rate had been lower than 210bpm for at least 10 minutes. How do I get the watch to read my heart rate more accurately without it jumping around from very low to very high numbers and getting stuck on numbers?

Replace the battery. Then make sure that it is placed on the proper artery that it is supposed to be on. If your heart rate was 210 you would be in the hospital with a heart attack. And also the only person I know with a heart rate of 90 when running is Lance Armstrong. Your heart rate should be about 120 to 135 and it will just around in those areas but should never go higher
