Indesit is70c is not drying effectively. I have replaced the heating element assembly at the back of the machine as the old one was knackered when I took the rear plate off. The new one is heating up just fine. The fan at the back is working and the main drum is also turning. Water is also being collected in the condenser. Clothes that have been put in get warm, but do not dry efficiently. For example, a few items of underwear went in for 60 minutes. Half were dry, the other half were still damp. It's like the machine is working at 30% efficiency. I've cleaned all of the filters and intakes and had all of the sides and top off while running to see if there were any glaring issues, but for life of me can't figure out what could be the cause!
Thanks Jim. It's not a thermostat issue as the whole assembly (including thermostats) was replaced and the heating elements are working properlyThanks Jim. It's not a thermostat issue as the whole assembly (including thermostats) was replaced and the heating elements are working properly
Try cleaning the condensor. I had the same problem and my condensor was clogged with lint and tissue.Try cleaning the condensor. I had the same problem and my condensor was clogged with lint and tissue.
