Indicator lights say there is no water entering the machine. The pipe sounds and feels like there is water flowing but it is not getting into the machine itself

If water is flowing, then you should see water enter the DW. You should also feel the water line becoming warm or hot, depending on if metal (copper), insulated metal (copper), or plastic.
If the water valve is partially restricted due to accumulation solids in the water line, then you will need to remove and clean the valve of solids.
