Infocus IN72 - blinking RED light
Hello, if anyone has similar experience, please help.
the first time the projector went down, the RED light blinked 3 times. As per manual, replaced with NEW BULB. Same issue over again. Thought it may have been a defective bulb, replaced again with NEW BULB, same issue.
This time after replacing NEW BULB, upon turning on, heard a 'snap', and smelled burning. Then flickering of the bulb, and auto shut down again, RED blinking 3 times.
Figure it's not the bulb, has to be power, ballast or whatever else. But it's been 4 months of backordered bulbs, and lots of effort and financial investment ... not sure if a new projector is really the answer now, or can this be fixed??

Firdt off, did you reset the lamp counter? did you clean the dust out of the projector? it may be overheating as well. if the lamp looks ok, you may have just blown the ballast. try projector doctor online.
