Infrared Heater - flaming thru plaque
Procom 3brick 15k heater has worked many seasons without problems........now seems to have too much "fire" in front of brick when on (normally used on low with center brick glowing)........used to just glow red, but can actually see flames out in front of area now.......sound normal or something to be concerned with?

I had this problem. From using the center brick most of the time, lots of dust bunnies build up in the gas chimney behind the brick.
Tie 2 pipe cleaners together with a small perpendicular circle at the top and carefully remove the dust bit by bit by twirling the cleaner.
The brick should fire like new if it is carefully cleaned out.
Sounds like your brick needs to be replaced. They are porous and if they get clogged over time, the fire will float over, instead of flow through the bricks.
