Ingersoll rand model M75 over heating
I have a problem of heat generation in the compressor above i changed all service kits send to me from manufacture but still the problem exist, our technical team do some modification by shifting the air cooler instead of oil cooler the problem solved but i feel this is not the correct way to solve, please advise me to find solution

Hi, you may have already checked these, but just in case,
Over heating compressor:
Oil cooler is dirty
Clogged oil filter
Rotor blades sticking or broken
Insufficient oil in the unit
Defective thermostatic bypass valve
All compressor units generate a large amount of heat. In some instances the design of the unit=location and other possible variables may effect the ability of the unit to cool itself. A modification as long as it works, is safe, hasn't effected the performance of the unit, and hasn't voided the warranty, may be the best necessary solution.
