Ingersoll Rand SSR-EP75 owners manual, I need to remove the cooling fan and replace it , its on a marathon electric fan motor e206, motor is good but the plastic blades around it are busted, I need info on how to remove the pulley with out damaging it, it looks like i might not have to remove the pulley at all
The pulley is held on by a compression type of coupling. Loosen all the screws in the coupling. Remove two screws and they should thread into two or more threaded holes in the coupling. These are holes that should be 180 degrees apart....they will be the only holes threaded. If all the other bolts in the circumference are loose you should be able to thread these two bolts into the coupling and the bolts actually "jack" the coupling apart. The coupling and fan should easily come off the front of the motor. The motor should be held on by 4 screws to the motor tower in front of your air/oil cooler.
