Ingition shuts down within 30 seconds. I realize this is the auto shut down, but there is no reason for it to do this. I took the cover off and found it would stay lit and run if I didn't tighten the cover, but left it loose on one side - that was last year. This year it just shuts off. Could it be a solenoid or a thermostat problem? Is it something I can fix myself? Thank you. Russ (Kerosene Reddy Heater)

Can be the Photocell {eye} at the back of the burner or the inline fuel filter.Photocells are easy to replace and when you install the new one make sure it's aiming straight to the flame.Inline filter can be cleaned by using forced air,but not recommended.Filters are cheap.If none of that works check the air pressure at the pump,rear of machine,little plastic pipe plug.4 to 5 P.S.I
