initial install
I powered up an i6550 signature capture device, it runs through a boot sequence, and comes to a stop with the comport listing, including USB, com . . .
then it just stays there. Is there some way to activate the device? i notice there is a slot for smart card, is this a requirement to use the device? Does a manual exist?

You can find the user's manual at the URL below. From my experience, using this terminal requires active support from your POS software. It is said to work with Microsoft RMS, but I'm still trying to get mine to talk to the computer. Good luck with it.
