Inland 7 port usb 2 hub, inconsistent connection
On a Dell Latitude D600, (Win XP SP3) this hub provides only inconsistent connections to the devices attached to it. A scanner, and an external modem, in particular, seem to disappear after a couple of hours. This can be rectified by detaching and re-attaching the USB connector from the hub. This is impractical, especially with the modem, which needs to stay connected for fax reception when unattended for long periods. Yesterday a printer was "off line" according to print manager, but again was restored through the detach, reattach technique.
