Inno 3d Geforce 8600 gt not being detected [Imran]
My card is not being detected when i run the windows. There are also some vertical lines on the monitor screen when i start my windows. The fan of card is also rotating. The card gave this problem a week ago but i just cleaned its top with a brush and it again started to work. But yesterday it gave the same problem and has not got well since yesterday.

As far as the detection of your card goes, you need to go to bios setup and check if your 'on board graphics' is enabled, it should be disabled. i can help further if you give your motherboard model number. the problem with the vertical lines may be that there is dust in your cards PCI socket on your motherboard or the pins on your card might have got damaged when you were cleaning them.
