my phone is not accepting the sim. it says insert sim..though the sim is working fine on another mobile phone and other sims are not working on my phone... please help

That s because there may be some problem in the sim holder or the sim holder is in loose contact ...
if you are good at opening the handset then just open it and remove all and clean the sim holder with some alcoholic solvent and refit that correctly and then get your mobile phone working for the sim cards ...
if you are not good at opening then you can just contact the technician he will make it right but he may take some service charge ...
