Insinkerator motor will hum, nothing is clogging it because it does move freely. it wont reset. if i turn it with wrench and have someone turn on wall switch at the same time, then the blades will start to move

The capacitor is probably bad, that's what makes it start to rotate. It's under the metal case on the side of the motor. Pull it off and take it to a motor to to replace.

Take the cap to a 'motor repair shop', they can give you a new one. If you don't have a motor shop, let me know and I'll help you get a new one
