Hello there, recently i 'm trying install the same version (SCO 6.0 O.S) on DELL PE 620 where the DISK controller are two, PERC H310 and RAID H710. All for SAS hard disk. There is my story: I had made parcial installed SCO Opensource 6.0 using librery's and extensions i found into sco.com support sites and many others (LSI megaRAID...etc..) in this DELL version. My installation recognice and install sco 95% into disk. Just 5% beford the Goald, there is comming always the following CONFLICT: "idmkunix: error conflict: int=0, vec=4, conflict=4, between=6, device=0..." This is the POINT WHERE I'm stock, I have a SIMPLE IRQ conflict (vector 4 i know it is similar at COM1 serial port).., The solutions was easy in old Dell models, as you know the jumper or CMOS disabilitation was enough,'i'm right? BUT THIS DELL 620 MODEL I can't does that, for 2 reasons: There is not exist phisical JUMP ajustment into mainboard and/or there is not exit any CMOS configuration (or I can't find it) arrangement, as you know DELL have BIOS FIRMWARE Software... Any solution sugestion of this? thank you so mouch in advance.
