Mic connections. pin1 grnd pin2 audio pin3 tx pin 4 rx only use the ground wire black from echo board. do not use the shielded wires on the audio.. some board will make a ground loop. and will have problems. only use the center conductor of the audio wires.. use a small diode 1n1001 or similar.(.08cents) on the power wire.. you can also use a 1k resistor to drop the voltage. some echos do not have onboard voltage regulator. to drop to 8v or 5v.. most new ones do.. but using a diode and resistor will make it last longer if it operates at that voltage.. ask around tat a RADIO shop or Ham operator.. cb shops don't always know what they are doing..
