Install of AS 2425 whirlpool tub
How to mark level line on studs when there is no access whatsoever?
(tub is closed on 3 sides with the exception of the small access panel in the apron)
Once that is accomplished, how much mortar might be required for a proper bedding? It appears in a drawing that is is quite thick, ie: several inches?
I would assume I should use rosin paper on plywood subfloor beneath mortar?
Is it a better idea to install all floor tile (including beneath tub) prior to installing the tub/cabinetry?
Appreciate the help much.
Thanks, Bill

Hey bill no easy way what we do is measure height of edge that will sit on stud and tack stud in tub area and dry fit tub.when you do that you can see how much space is under tub for your mortor you should use light weight cement called structolite its white and not as heavy and yes a piece of tar or resin paper is a good idea
