Installed Symmons Temptrol II Shower Faucet and do not have flow. Rebuilt it twice. Could accidently overheating the valve during copper sweat cause damage to the Hot and Cold Seat cause a flow issue requiring replacement? Do you recommend replacing other components? Thanks a million

Unless u sweat the valve body while the cartridge or ball **** (not sure whats in that model) was in it, there shouldn't be a problem.the seats are made of brass or steel and will not be affected by the heat of sweating copper. there may be a spring w/a little rubber boot over it that is actually in the seat which could be damaged like this but i have never seen a unit come out of the box like this. i mean you have to put them in there yourself. it is standard however for a cartridge to come inside the valve body so hopefully you took it out before you started sweating otherwise you will definitely have to replace the cartridge:( hope this helps but if you need anything else just text me here:)

Awesome feed back. Thanks again. I think the cartridge is ok because when I take it out under pressure there is no H2O anywhere, dry. There is a hot and cold seat replacement package being sent. I'll let you know what happed on Monday. Peace
