Installing Luggage Rack Crossbars
I bought some OEM crossbars from eBay, and want to install them. It appears that I need to remove a trim piece at the back end of the rails that run front to back. Anyone know how to safely remove and then reinstall the trim piece?

The trim piece is held on by an adhesive that is very difficult to remove. my suggestion is find the location where you want to install the foot part of the rack. then take a small cutting tool like a dremel and just remove that section. this way you should not have to remove the whole trim piece. please rate this........thanks
