Installing VMware server on Ubuntu 8.04
Whenever i am trying to install vmware on ubuntu 8.04, it always fail. it says something like that there is already a previous installation of vmware. but i do not yet have the vmware console...

Try to locate vmware if you really have vmware installed via
locate vmware
if vmware was found try to find the uninstaller via
locate vmware-uninstall.pl
then execute the ./vmware-uninstall.pl
