Internal microphone is default, labtec does not
I am trying to use my Labtec Headset Mic on a new laptop but the internal laptop microphone keeps engaging .. instead of the Labtec. I went into settings and made the Labtec mic the default but it still does not work.

Depends on the software you are using, some progs like Skype have settings to change as well as ones in audio control panel
