Intertherm electric furace
My heat pump has ground short in compresser,does not work, my emergency heat is a backup system, my inside furance runs great, it heats for a little blows warm air and then still running the air will cool,it blows cold air, the unit cycles fine.I was going to check the heat coles what do you think?

It sounds like the coils are fine if you are getting heat. They are likely shutting down from overheating after being on for awhile. Check your filter and overall air flow to make sure it's adequate.
