Invite failure in ps3 RE5

i cant invite my friend
i created a mercenary game session with invitation only filter
when my join this error appear to him
the same thing when he create the session and i join him !
any ideas what is wrong here and how to fix it ?
we both have ps3 pal with RE5 pal region 2

Got the same problem sometimes. it always happened when my or my friends router reconnected or lost internet connection. we fixed it by restarting the router and relogging into the network
